WHAT IS PINTURA PROJECT?
Pintura Project is Orlando’s original street art, graffiti, and legal wall culture event, founded in 2008 by Angel “Staz” Carreras and Yovan “ES” Barraza, and rooted in the city’s hip hop and urban art movement. What began as a one-day gathering of writers and muralists grew into an annual destination event, drawing thousands and showcasing live, large-scale graffiti and mural production in a legal, community-supported environment.
After the original Central Blvd location was sold and demolished, the event went dormant for several years. In 2025, Pintura Project was carefully restructured and revived at The NASH Orlando. Today, it stands as a cornerstone of Orlando’s street art and hip hop culture, blending live painting, DJs, MCs, murals, and creative energy into a true celebration of graffiti, legal walls, and creative expression.
